For 25+ years, I’ve worked across the entire spectrum of high-acuity nursing—from trauma and neurosurgical ICUs and both adult and pediatric PACUs along with pre-hospital flight and transport nursing. Along the way, I've also taught as a clinical instructor, facilitated patient movement in a transfer center, and eventually obtained an MBA and become a prior authorization certification specialist (PACS) to better understand the business, management, and reimbursement sides of healthcare systems.Attorneys look to me because I know how a hospital system and staff actually function under pressure.
